I am going to be father and I am the happiest person in this world

Yes friends I am going to be father. And I am the happiest person in this word. I feel like I am in heaven. It was Saturday when I came to know that my wife is pregnant after we had done a PT at home and when it came positive I was on top of this world.

I rushed my wife to nearby hospital to confirm the pregnancy test by evening 9 o clock. Doctors done through test and investigations and confirmed me that my wife is 2 months pregnant. Soon I distributed sweets to all the hospital staff and doctors.

Doctors told us to come back by 16th August to know the baby position, heartbeat, health etc. I took the medicines prescribed by the doctors and headed back to home. Doctor specifically told my wife to take rest and don’t do any hard work for 3 to 4 months also avoid traveling as much as possible.

Then the next thing was to inform my in laws and my parents regarding this good news. And I informed my wife’s dad, mom, sister back in Kerala. And next day the good news was informed to my wife’s brother at Singapore. All were very very happy after knowing this news.

Lots of complements came from my in-laws. Then I informed my parents. My dad was very happy and came home with sweets to wish us.  Until now everything is going fine and my wife is in good health. I am waiting desperately and anxiously for march 29th 2013 when my daughter or son will come. As doctor has told me 29th is the due date.

Well I am having faith in god and praying to give me a healthy child

What is success and How do we define success ?

What makes a person successful? How do we recognize success? To some people, success might mean wealth.  To others , it is recognition, good health, a good family, happiness, satisfaction, and peace of mind. What this really tell us is that success is subjective.  Success means different things to different people. The definition that I feel best summarize “success” is :

Success is the progressive relation of a worthy goal.—By Earl Nightingale

Lets look a these definitions carefully.

“Progressive” means that success is a journey, not a destination. We never arrive. After we reach one goal, we go on to next and next and so on.

“Realization” means it is an experience. Outside forces cannot make feel successful. I have to feel it within myself. It is internal not external. That’s why  what often appears as success externally may be total hollowness within.

“Worthiness” refers to our value system without which goals can be unworthy. Which are we heading? Towards positive or negative goals? Worthiness determines the quality of the journey. That is what gives meaning and fulfillment. Goals are important because they give us sense of direction.

Success without fulfillment is empty.

Some Obstacles to success

1 Ego

2 Fear of failure / success; lace of esteem

3 No plan

4 Lack of formalized goals

5 Life changes

6 Procrastination

7 Family responsibilities

8 Financial security issues

9 Lack of focus, being muddled

10 Giving up vision for promise of money

11 Doing too much alone

12 Overcommitment

13 Lack of commitment

14 Lack of training

15 Lack of persistence

16 Lack of priorities
The Winning Edge

In order to get the winning edge, We need to strive for excellence, not perfection, Striving for perfection is neurotic; striving for excellence is progress, because there is nothing that cant be done better or improved

All that we need is a little edge. The wining horse in race may win with 5-to-1 or 10-to-1 odds. Do you think he is five or ten time faster than other horses? Of course not . He may only be faster  by a fraction, by a nose, but the rewards are five or ten times grater.

It it fair? Who cares? It doesn’t matter. Those are the rules of the game. That is why the game is played. The same is true in our lives. Successful people are not ten times smarter than the people who fail. They may be fractionally, better, but the rewards are ten times bigger.

We don’t need to improve 1000% in any one area. All you need is to improve 1% in 1000 different areas, which is a lot easier. That is the winning edge!

Your Attitude Contributes to Success

Friends this is a very interesting story of attitude which I am going to write. Please share with your friends if you like it.

There was a man called Hafiz a farmer from Africa who was happy and content. He was happy because he was content. He was content because he was happy. One day a wise man came to him and told him about the glory of diamonds and the power that goes along with them. The wise man said,” If you had a diamond the size of your thumb, you could buy your own city. If you had a diamond the size of your first, you could probably own your own country.” And then the wise man left. That night, Hafiz couldn’t sleep He was unhappy and discontented. He was unhappy because he was discontented and discontented because he was unhappy.

Next morning Hafiz made arrangements to sell his farm, took care of this family, and went off in search of diamonds. He looked all though Europe and couldn’t find any. By the time he got to Spain, he was emotionally, physically and financially depleted. He was disheartened that he committed suicide by throwing himself into Barcelona River.

Back home, the person who has bought the farm was watering the camels at the stram that ran through the property. Across the stream, the rays of the morning sun hit a stone and made it sparkle like a rainbow. He thought the stone would look good in his living room. He picked up the stone and put it on his mantle piece. That afternoon, the wise man came and saw the stone sparkling. He asked, “Is Hafiz back?” The new owner said, “No, why do you ask?” The wise man said,” Because that is a diamond. I recognize one when I see one.” The man said, “No, that’s just a stone I picked up from the stream. Come I’ll show you. There are more.” They went and picked some sample and sent them for analysis. Sure enough, the stones were diamonds. They found that the farm was indeed covered with acres of diamonds.

What is the moral of the story?

There are six morals:

  1. When our attitude is right, we release that we are all walking on acres and acres of diamonds. Opportunity is always under our feet. We don’t have to go anywhere. All we need to do is recognize it.
  2. The grass always looks greener on the other side.
  3. While we are eying the grass on the other side, there are others who are eying the grass on our side. They would be happy to trade places with us.
  4. People, who don’t know how to recognize opportunity, complain of noise when it knocks.
  5. Lost opportunities are easier recognized when they are leaving rather than when they are coming.
  6. Opportunity only knocks once. The next one may be better or worse, but never the same one. That is why it is so crucial to make the right decision at the right time. A right decision at the wrong time becomes a wrong decision.

The challenge I faced in SEO and Digital Marketing for my client

August 2, 2012 2 comments

Hello Friends,

Having said before that it takes lots of efforts to keep your keywords on top in search engines. So as an Internet marketing professional I too had to face the music by Google.

As you all guys know there was a penguin update done on April 2012 by Google and most of the websites lost its ranking due to unnatural links pointing to their website which Google says it has detected or discovered  and thus penalized all the websites.

Hence my client’s website also becomes one of the victims of google penguin update. We were not knowing all these as client told us after some days of signing our contract  with their company. Prior giving contract to us the client had given contract to some other seo company in Srilanka. Who have done this unnatural link building to gain fast ranking in google.

Ok Leave that story behind of Srilankan company.  We found that in webmaster tool that client had got a message from Google saying about the unnatural links to their website.

We have done an in-depth analysis of the website back links and removed most of the links. There were lots of links from BMR  website that is Build my Rank.  It was a really big and challenging task as first of all the links have to be removed and then again build quality and natural links to the website.

We are now in process of doing it. Now its almost 3 months over now we have made good back links and clients keywords in google are also showing after we sent a reconsideration to google with all proof that we have removed the links
